A project of this magnitude requires considerable thought and research on the part of the purchaser. Therefore I would like to present you with some information about Brent Martz, the builder and some basic design concepts of the boat.

I have been involved for some 30 years in the fibre glass industry. Gaining in that time a vast range of experience. For 12 years I was the proprietor of Martz Craft, the highly successful builder of the Martz Craft 35's. This has given me competence in all aspects of design, pattern making and laminating.

It is my personal policy to maintain a close hands - on concept to all the boats I have built. This ensures that my experience is reflected in all the work done under my name.

After the sale of Martz Craft in 1986, I took time to research the new boat design; ie. went cruising. Recent years have been spent developing the new boat. I would like to present the M.C.Y. 46 for your inspection and consideration.
